In 2009, while promoting his first book, he went to the Apollo Theater to recite a poem on camera, which was dedicated to Michael Jackson, who had passed away days prior. Before Jermaine’s interview with Streetline TV, he was asked by Vera Edwards to host interviews with fans of the late Michael Jackson, which would be aired on BronxNet local TV. To his surprise, Edwards was impressed by his interviewing style, and asked him to become a regular host on local television, BronxNet, for Streetline TV. Within months, the show elevated to backstage concert interviews with celebrities at the legendary Paradise Theater, with a cohost. This boosted his confidence, and after he parted ways with Streetline TV, while working for New York Faces Magazine for one month, Jermaine assembled a new team. He hosted his own web show and created MainsWorld365, with the help of Tyrone Harding. Alongside James Brown and Glenn Miller, he attended Red Carpet events, where he conducted interviews with entertainers, celebrities, entrepreneurs, independent artists, reality stars, models, actors and actresses.
